Description
On June 29 & 30, 2024, I was guest goalie for the True NJ Boys lacrosse team in the NXT Meltdown at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, PA. Prior to this tournament, I only had three practice sessions with the boys team. The boys game is so different from the girls game - I had a lot to learn! We were placed in the A bracket for the weekend, and I ended the weekend with a save percentage of 60% overall with 34 saves. I was proud of my performance for the very first time playing in boys' games. I had so much fun playing in the boys tournament and I loved the challenge - the team was welcoming and supportive and even the opposing teams were great (the parents and the teams). Thank you to the whole TRUE Lacrosse family for having faith in me to do what I love to do!!! #TrueOn2
